Friday morning a woman was shot and killed near the Pala Indian Reservation which is located in Pala, Ca off the I-15 Exit of 76 going east. The killer has not been found but police are on a manhunt to find the suspect.

The actual shooting happened near the intersection of Lilac Road and state Route 76 which leads to the casino grounds. The incident was reported to local police around 11 a.m. Police have not commented on why the killing occurred or any other details.

Deputies have reported that they think they know who the shooter is and are doing what they can to located and arrest the suspect. Some other possible suspects were detained and questioned by police.
Witnesses have stated that the suspect could be driving in a white, full-size pickup truck. The name of the woman killed has not been released.
