Truck Accident on Northbound 15 Injures 3 Spills Fuel
Three people were injured Sunday morning when a tractor-trailer driver lost control of his truck and hit two cars on Interstate 15 in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego. The California Highway Patrol described the injuries as minor.
The accident took place about 9:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway just south of Rancho Bernardo Road.
About 30 gallons of diesel fuel spilled in the San Diego accident. The north side of the highway was closed briefly while the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department’s hazardous materials team cleaned up the spill. Two of the four lanes remain closed.
