Teen Stabs Man For Refusing to buy Him Cigarettes
Many stores are becoming stricter by requiring customers to show proper identification before selling alcohol and/or cigarettes to them. Some stores even display signs that warn the customer that they will be asked to show proper identification if they appear to be under 30-years-old.
But this new enforcement has created a challenge for teenagers who want to buy cigarettes and now do not have the ability to do. This was the case with a frustrated teen. Police say he was about 17- or 18-years-old and tried to get a man to buy cigarettes for him.
It was just before midnight when a man, 36, was walking along on University Avenue near Euclid Avenue. This teenager approached him and asked if he would buy some cigarettes for him.

The man said refused to do so and the teen just stabbed him right in the upper back. This was reported by police Sgt. Bob Dare.
Paramedics had to take the victim the hospital for his knife wound. His injury is described as not life-threatening. The teenager has been described as a Latino male that is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
He has black hair and was wearing a black T-shirt at the time of the assault.
