Allen M. Baker was arrested outside Molly Malone’s tavern July 26th of this year. Baker confronted two deputies that were in the parking lot. The deputies arrested Baker and charged him with resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Now Baker has identified two deputies, Colby Hodge and Jess Allensworth and alleges that they are harassing women in this Ramona bar.

Baker has some poor quality photographs he took of these deputies posing with a woman who was celebrating her 21st birthday. Baker claims that deputies come to the bar three or four times a week. Baker’s photos also include women with their hands behind their backs wearing handcuffs as well as a photo of a woman sitting in the back of a patrol car.

A 21-year-old woman from Ramona said that she did ask the police to pose with her in photos and that she put her hands behind her back but was never actually handcuffed. She said that she was celebrating her birthday and just “wanted a story to tell.” She said it was all in fun.

Molly Malone’s manager Bob Isaacson said he remembered the woman celebrating her birthday. He said that he overheard them talking about getting photos taken with the deputies. He never saw them actually handcuff her.

Officials have made it clear that they take all “allegations of misconduct very seriously” so they are still investigating to “find out what happened.”
