Lawsuit Filed against Company after Car Crash
April Bisgaard, 62 and from San Mateo, CA., lives close to a local grocery store. Bisgaard was shopping last Monday at the grocery store, like she always does.
She loaded her Lexus with her groceries and was ready to exit the parking lot when all of a sudden she saw a runaway truck truck zigzagging down a hill. She estimated that it must have been going 60 mph.
At the same time she noticed a black SUV. It happened so quickly. The truck slammed into the black SUV, and Bisgaard knew she was next. She was. The SUV then slammed in her spinning her Lexus at least once clockwise.
She held on to the steering wheel and once she came to a stop, was forced to exit from the passenger side. Her door would not open.
She was taken to Stanford Medical Center where the woman driver of the black SUV was also taken and still being treated. There was a 9 -year-old boy also in the black SUV and was killed in the accident.
Bisgaard knows that she was very lucky to have been able to talk away from this such a strange and dangerous auto accident with only minor injuries. She had no broken bones, but had a bad contusion, two black eyes and multiple aches and pains.
Bisgaard is filing a personal Injury lawsuit against the roofing company that owned the truck. She decided to file quickly so that there would still be time to access important evidence to be able to decide who or what is to blame for this accident.
