The September 12th Metrolink train crash brought together 25 people who before really didn’t have much in common.

That faithful day has the friends and families of these 25 coming together to grieve. It was these 25 that were killed in the train accident. Their train plowed head on into a Union Pacific freight train.  At least 22 of the 24 passengers were riding in the first train that got crushed.

Here are a few of their Stories.

One of those that died was Gregory Lintner, 48, who was in the Glendale train crash that happened in 2005.  He was not totally over the crash yet and actually carried the photo of the man that was blamed for the Glendale train wreck in his wallet.

Dean Brower, 51 another victim was heading home to get his developmentally disabled son and his adopted son.

And then there were the younger victims.

Jacob Hefter, 18, was starting his freshman year at Cal Sate Long Beach.

Chen-Wyuan Kari Hsieh, 18 was a varsity tennis player at her high school.

Maria Elena Villalobos, 18, wanted to be a fashion designer and was returning home from class at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Atul Vyas, 20, had just interviewed at M.I.T. and Harvard.

All the victims have their own stories and lives.
